Searching for traces in Wilhelmsburg: In various research and multimedia workshops for pupils from Wilhelmsburg, a digital search for traces was created. It takes the participants on a journey of remembrance to the resistance fighter Hans Leipelt and his family. The young people proudly presented the results to their parallel class. With a lot of skill and perseverance, they learned more about the White Rose, stumbling stones and human rights.
The project in the field of cultural education stands out because we were not only able to introduce the young people to topics such as fundamental rights, anti-Semitism and resistance, but also because they were able to deal with them intensively and become experts and multipliers. With the digital search for traces, they can thus make a lasting contribution to cultural education.
